We offer techniques such as: Non-Surgical Decompression, Graston Technique, Webster’s Technique, NIMMO Technique, ArthroStim System, Thomson Technique, SOT Technique and a Class IV Laser. These adjusting techniques reduce spinal and extremity joint fixations, establish normal movement patterns, promote proper biomechanics, and decrease pain.
Radiography is a valuable diagnostic tool used in evaluating musculoskeletal conditions. Our digital X-ray system uses less radiation than traditional systems while giving us a better diagnostic quality in order to better serve our patients.
Digital Motion X-Rays (DMX)
We utilize video fluoroscopy trade named DMX to help localize ligament damage in the neck that can occur after an injury. Digital X-Rays are a static representation of our bones, however, we live in a dynamic world, working, moving and doing activities of daily living. This technology helps us observe the injured segment in the neck.
Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) with electromyographical (EMG) studies fall under the realm of electrodiagnostic medicine and is used to properly diagnose conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated discs that are affecting the nerve (called radiculopathy), peripheral neuropathy usually from diabetes or other systemic disease. The examination is used by orthopedic and neurosurgeons to help them better identify the spinal level(s) causing the most issue.
Videonystagmography (VNG) are studies performed to identify possible sources for dizziness and imbalance that our patients might suffer from leading at times to a sense of nausea.
Auto Injury Rehabilitation
Auto Crashes are responsible for numerous injuries, acute and chronic. Our office is focused on your recovery and providing the best care possible. Specific programs are designed on an individual basis, geared toward the repair of injured ligaments, discs, joint capsules, and myofascial structures. Emphasis is placed on tissue healing, regaining lost function and pain reduction. We also utilize outside experts including but not limited to orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists and neuropsychologists when needed.
Sports Injury & Physical Rehabilitation
Physical therapy techniques are employed to recover lost function, improve muscle activation, heal injured tissues, correct dysfunctional movement patterns, and promote core stability. Whether you require post-surgical rehab, injury rehab, or functional rehab due to deconditioning, we provide it with customized exercise plan for each patient.
This is a specialized form of rehab. The structure of the spine is addressed in which the goal of treatment is to reduce abnormal loading of the spine from a gravitational perspective. Mechanical engineering concepts are applied to the spine to approximate a more appropriate configuration toward the normal spinal curves. neuropsychologists when needed.
Diet & Nutrition
Whole and organic foods are always the best way to provide your body what it needs to function properly, but many times nutritional supplementation is needed. In times of physiological stress, toxicity and injury, supplements are helpful for biochemical repair and function. We only use whole food and pharmaceutical grade products from GMP certified companies such as Anabolic Laboratories and Progressive Laboratories.
